Overview

Wild Adventures is a 14-day Sri Lanka tour package designed for thrill-seekers, nature lovers, and wildlife enthusiasts who want to experience the island’s most spectacular landscapes and adrenaline-filled activities. This immersive journey combines wildlife safaris, rainforest trekking, white water rafting, cultural exploration, and coastal experiences into one unforgettable adventure.

Your journey begins in the vibrant seaside town of Negombo, before heading north to Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka’s largest and most untouched wildlife reserve. Here, you will enjoy your first Sri Lankan camping experience on the edge of the wilderness, followed by an exciting jeep safari led by expert naturalists and trackers who share deep insights into the park’s wildlife and ecosystems.

From Wilpattu, travel through Sri Lanka’s famous Cultural Triangle, visiting Minneriya National Park, where large herds of elephants gather in their natural habitat. Continue to the historic hill capital Kandy, a city rich in culture, heritage, and scenic beauty.

The adventure intensifies as you travel to Kithulgala, Sri Lanka’s adventure capital, where you will experience thrilling white water rafting on the Kelani River. From there, descend into the lush Sinharaja Rainforest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s best-preserved tropical rainforests. Guided rainforest treks will introduce you to rare endemic wildlife, birds, and plant species found nowhere else on Earth.

Next, explore Udawalawe National Park and Yala National Park, home to Sri Lanka’s iconic wildlife including leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and exotic birdlife. Enjoy multiple big game drives that offer incredible opportunities for wildlife photography and close encounters with nature.

The tour continues to the beautiful southern coast, where you will enjoy whale watching in Mirissa and visit the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO-listed colonial fortress. Finally, travel to Colombo before transferring to the airport for your departure, completing your Wild Adventures journey across Sri Lanka.

If you visit Wilpattu between May and June, you may be lucky enough to spot the rare sloth bears feeding on their favorite seasonal Palu fruits.
